Back to School Lunch Program
In September 2022, we launched the Discover Bowness Back-to-School Emergency Lunch Program to ensure families in our community have the lunch supplies they need to keep their kids fed during the first three months of the school year.
Youth Leadership Scholarship
The Discover Bowness Youth Leadership Scholarship celebrates the contributions of young leaders in our community who have made a difference in the lives of others. One (1) $500 scholarship is awarded annually to a youth in our community.
Supporting Seniors in Need
Food insecurity affects too many seniors in our community. That's why we've partnered with the Bowness Seniors' Centre to provide meals, pantry staples, and hygiene products for those in need.
We have kicked off the first annual Discover Bowness Coats for Community Campaign. Between now and November 1st, we are collecting new or gently used winter jackets, toques, gloves, and boots for Bowness families and individuals in need.
